Cute and lovely

Breakfast jewels

I've posted about Q Pot before, now as well as continuing their candy themed jewellery, they've introduced a bread, cheese and coffee themed collection. I'm not sure I would actually wear any of the pieces but they're definitely working in terms of making me hungry!

These rings took my fancy though

I love the rich colours of the gems paired with the rough gold of Disa Allsopp's rings

Miss Bibi

I love these quirky pieces by Miss Bibi (at Kabiri). They remind me of Cluedo pieces :)

I love these lockets by Lin Cheung...the brushed metal and sharp lines are so different from the usual pretty, soft and delicate lockets I've seen

The rough with the smooth

I'm pretty sure I've blogged about Jennifer Trask already but having rediscovered her work here, I thought it deserved a re-post.

She produces her pieces by linking together little pots filled with things like pigments, beads, spices, gemstones and in a nod to taxonomy, peacock feathers, beetles and butterfly wings.

Absolutely breathtaking

Knuckle dusters

I'm a big fan of chunky rings but my fingers are quite small so I find them hard to wear without looking like I've attached a huge rock to my finger :)

Net-a-porter is known for having the most up to date fashion collections online and they don't disappoint with the jewellery either. There's a great selection of beautiful pieces, each very lovely in its own right...perfect for fashionistas and jewellery lovers alike!

I absolutely love these delightfully quirky pieces by Comfort Station. The varied chain, little bits of sparkle and old images are the perfect mix together.
Loving the work of Kate Wood aka Glint...beautiful little clusters of gems!

Girl Props

Sunday, June 10, 2007

After posting about their Banana necklace I took a better look around the Girl Props website...it's all pretty cute and definitely a great place for fun jewellery. I wish we had something like this in the UK, some days it's nice to put on a piece of jewellery that makes you smile!

Donna Keay

Friday, April 20, 2007

I'm so glad jeweller Donna Keay added me as a contact on flickr because it served as a great introduction to her beautiful jewellery. Her work is inspired by "historical jewellery, antique books and gold-tooled book-cover patterns, the theme of memory and archaeological finds." See her work here and here
